• Some hours later, I came out of my room, taking a temporary break from doing my assignment. Almost bumping into my mom as she raised her hand to knock on the door, just as I opened it. Surprised to see her all dressed up, I regard her with a playful expression.
• She purposely ignored the look I was giving her. “I will be gone for a couple hours, so don’t bother our guest unless he needs something. You also don’t have to be afraid of someone bursting into the house or anything, a few guards are secretly patrolling the area just in case something goes wrong.”
