• Shattering the moment between us, he threw his head back and laughed. A rich, deep sound coming from deep within his chest. Being under the effect of his laughter, a smile spread across my face but then a sharp knock on the door put a temporary end to the moment.
• While still staring at me, he breaks away to answer the door and I stood there mentally scolding myself for my inability to control my emotions where he was concerned. I couldn’t help it, it‘s like each time I’m near him, there’s a universal force that seems to push those feelings past my defenses to the surface.
