• They forgot me! Ben and Zeke freaking forget the fact that they were supposed to pick me up after school. I made sure not to keep them waiting; as soon as I finished with my last lesson for the day, I didn’t even stop to chat with Leo or torture Izzie into carrying my stuff. I hurried towards the parking lots just in time to see them driving off! Several minutes passed by with me still staring after their ‘long disappeared out of sight’ car, a wave of anger stirring up inside me.
• So now I’m supposed to walk all the way to the manor? While I have no issue walking home from school every day, the distance from school to the manor is way further than my house, and I can’t not go because of the project. Only because of the project, which has nothing to do with the fact that I desperately want to see Killian. Who said that?
