• Raven was the first person I started looking for when I arrived at school the following morning, not that I have any other friend to look for anyway. After the way I spoke to her yesterday when all she was trying to do was help me, I could have handled the situation better than that.
• I stopped by my locker, a small part of me hoping whoever took my project put it back after experiencing some miraculous change of heart. Opening my locker, I was trifling with disappointment when there was no sign of an egg there. I sensed someone moving up behind me and that caused me to turn around sharply. I felt myself relaxed when the person turned out to be Raven.
