- Early morning light was still soft and warm when Elgin turned his back on the pack, stepping into the unknown. After this night, he was resolute. He would not be able to stay in his pack anymore, when his mind had become occupied with Mimilia. He needed to see her, talk to her-to sort out the tension between them, if at all possible.
