• I stepped out of the room, feeling a bit lightheaded after donating my blood. I have never given my blood a shot to someone and this new feeling was something new and overwhelming. I hope I don't run short of blood or fall sick or else Dad would be so worried about me. As I walked down the hallway, still holding my hands and the cotton around the spot to stop the blood from flowing, I noticed Brent standing a short distance away, his eyes fixed on some point in the distance. His expression was cold and detached, and I felt a shiver run down my spine as I approached him. I mustered up courage and pulled my feet slowly towards him, keeping my face also straight.
