• “What is it?” Sophie asked, her voice tinged with concern.
• Lisa hesitated for a moment before handing over her phone. “You should probably see this.”
• Sophie took the phone from Lisa and watched the press conference video. The footage showed Vanessa’s agency spokesperson delivering a polished, sympathetic speech. Sophie didn’t know what to make of this video. On the one hand, if Vanessa was hurt in any way, her fiance should support her.
