• “Yes, I am sure. This relationship is not working. And if he is not man enough to end it, I’ll do it.”
• The confrontation with Vanessa had left a sore taste in her mouth concerning this relationship. And with her mom out of the hospital, she decided it was time she took charge of her life. By the time he comes back from his trip, he will meet a different Sophie, she decided.
• She wanted to believe Ethan and give him the benefit of the doubt. She wanted to believe that there is a big, good (good for her at least) reason behind all his recent actions. She wanted to believe that he cares for her as he said and will make all things right between them.
