• I jolted awake, heart pounding, sweat clinging to my skin like a second layer. The same nightmare had clawed its way back into my sleep again—our pack under siege, shadows tearing through the forest with teeth glinting like knives. Blood. Screams. And in the middle of it all—my father. Alpha Storm, ripped apart by creatures that should’ve never existed.
• I sat up, breathing hard, the air heavy and metallic. The images burned behind my eyelids, but another one followed—a wolf with deep, soulful eyes that shimmered with warmth I didn’t think I deserved. A wolf with a coat as pale as moonlight.
