Chapter 67 Tonight Will Be Long Very Long

• It has been a whole day since Jessica came up with the terrible idea of having a double date. I look at the clock on the wall of my room and suddenly realize that I have spent the entire Sunday lying on my bed doing nothing. I take a few steps to the window of my room and shield myself with my hands as I feel the cold of the afternoon. My shoulders rise from the sudden emanation of my body as I hear the doorbell of my apartment. I don't feel like seeing anyone and this bad mood I'm in might ruin my day.
• I open my eyes to see Chaina and Maya in the hallway of my floor, my best friends holding bags with drinks and snacks. The Spanish girl bumps me with her hip to make way and enter my residence. The dark-haired girl throws the things from my coffee table to the floor to make room for what they have brought.
• "What are you doing here?" I ask, but neither of them answers. "Chaina, why didn't you tell me you were back in Barcelona? Are we not friends anymore?!" I sob. "Both of you are traitors!" I accuse them now. Maya gets up from the floor and then grabs my hand forcefully, touches my forehead, and shakes her head.
