Chapter 36 Love Has Shattered

• "No, no, no, this can't be happening," my mom denies while Romina screams things that I still can't comprehend. What happened? Samuel Ford! That damn bastard has ruined my life again. I try to walk towards her to give her an explanation about this, but a blow to my face leaves me immobile. My wife has just slapped me, and it hurt me to the core. Her eyes glare at me with hatred as if I were the only one to blame in this whole situation.
• "Where is my mom, Harold Western? What have you done to my mom?!" Her voice sounds broken, and I want to embrace her. The pain is evident in every one of her movements, but the worst is yet to come when the man I've called father for six years grabs me by the collar of my shirt and throws me to the ground without any remorse.
