Chapter 42 Prologue

• My phone hasn't stopped ringing since I left the apartment that my grandfather Mijaíl gave me in Blue Sky.
• I dab my forehead with a tissue from the designer purse I hold in one of my hands. My sister Sandara looks at me, urging me to hurry up as we are both running late for the family company's shareholders meeting.
• I ask my driver to drive as fast as possible because I don't want to run into dad if he happens to see us arriving late at the Techology Inc. offices. In short, I don't know how my mother has put up with him for so long, being the man who gave me life, too possessive and jealous. I adjust my hair to one side and mess it up so as not to look like my twin sister, I know, I know, it's an inside joke.
