Chapter 39 All's Well That Ends Well (1)

• A violent blow to my face left me stunned.
• The folder with the papers that will give my mother power over the inheritance and Western properties falls a few steps away from me. Samuel pulls forcefully at my hair and I scream as his huge fingers violently squeeze my cheeks until my gums bleed.
• My breathing is ragged but I desperately shake my legs as his hands come down on my neck, my vision blurs as tears start to fall down my cold face. Sweat takes over my body, it's too hot in this place and all I want right now is to escape from here.
