Chapter 112- Running away from him

• When Linda Holmes didn't see Lisa coming out of her room for a long time, she went there to check, but she didn't see her. Thinking that Lisa might be in the bathroom, she went there to knock on the door but she found the door locked from outside. She frowned deeply and thought she could go. Linda Holmes looked around the room in astonishment and her eyes landed on a folded piece of paper on the side table. Walking there, she picked up the paper and opened it to read. 'Mom, Dad, sorry. I am leaving for the safety of Mr. Black. I can't surrender to Daniel. Please forgive me.' These words were written on that paper. Shocked, Linda Holmes flopped down on the bed instantly. The paper slipped away from her hands and tears rolled down her cheeks.

• Inside the airplane, Lisa leaned back on the seat looking outside at the floating clouds. Her pupils were still, staring in a trance, somewhere in the ocean of clouds. Her mind was blank and static. She planned to escape from everything that could lead to Carl Black as she wanted to stay far away from him fearing that her presence near him could ruin his life forever. She even didn't tell her parents where she was going. Tears started collecting inside her eyes and she felt tightness in her chest to think about her parents. Just then, she heard a cheerful female voice "Why are you so quiet?"
