Chapter 103- Going away from her

Few more days passed. Lisa recovered from the fever and started going to her work. During these days she hardly encountered Carl Black, despite living in the same house. Whenever they crossed their path they just looked at each other for a few moments and went back to their respective work without a word. Such a life is suffocating.
Lisa wanted to clear the misunderstanding but whenever she encountered him, she couldn't gather her courage to speak after seeing his cold dark eyes. The same was with Carl Black also. He wanted to take care of her but he didn't know whether it was his ego or the regret for mistreating her, he suppressed his desire to talk to her. They both mostly avoided each other.
That day when Lisa came back from the institute she saw him packing his things. She panicked and asked while walking to him "Where are you going?"
