Chapter 118- The doubt

• That day almost at midnight, Alex received a call from an unknown number when he was about to sleep. Frowning, he looked at the unknown number flashing on the screen and thought who was the person calling him at that hour. He didn't pick up, thinking that it might be just a random call, and continued sleeping. But his phone again rang, and the call was from the same number. This time he didn't ignore it and answered, "Hello."
• An unusually stuffy male voice came out from the other end of the phone, "Mr. Mayor's daughter's life is in danger. Save her."
• Startled, Alex jumped out of the bed frantically and asked in a frenzy, "Who are you?"
