• Lisa stared at Mack Black’s leaving figure in a daze. As per Helen Black, Carl Black should come with him, then where was he? Why was he not coming till now? Was he OK? All these questions increased her agitation. At that time, she recalled Daniel Brooke's threat.
• She felt as if a gust of chill wind passed through her body, and her hairs stood on her back. She was so scared and worried about his safety that tears started streaming down. People inside the chapel began to murmur when they noticed the delay in the arrival of the groom.
