Chapter 106- I am doing this only for him

They saw the taxi, standing outside the gate once they came out of the villa. Carl Black put the suitcase in the trunk and looked at Lisa, who was ready to get inside the car. He held her wrist to stop her. Lisa looked up at him only to meet his deep black eyes staring straight at her tenderly. There were so many emotions in his eyes. Her heart started racing faster. After so many days, she was seeing the tenderness in his gaze. There was no coldness and indifference at that moment. She was missing his love and care. For a moment, she wanted to throw herself on him, but she suppressed the impulse and looked away from him. She tried to pull her hand back, but his grip tightened. Taking a deep breath, she said indifferently "It's getting late." She didn't look at him because she feared that she might lose control if she met those eyes again.
Carl Black asked her hoarsely "When will you come back?"
She gasped and pulled her hand back with a jerk, saying "I will let you know this later." With that, she hurriedly got in the car without looking back at him. The car started moving slowly and she burst into tears. She covered her mouth to suppress her sobbing. Until now she was trying hard to stay calm and to look indifferent but how long she could hold.
