Chapter 115- Please brother, don’t run away

• Henry August let go of her and said, "I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you."
• He turned and stood beside her, fixing his solemn gaze somewhere ahead. Taking a deep breath, he continued speaking, "My father was a famous businessman in Capital city, and we had huge property. This is our farmhouse, and we used to come here during the holidays. We were living happily." There was a faint smile on his face which slowly disappeared. "But due to lung cancer, he died when I was only 10, and my uncle took over the business. He managed to get the property in his name and kicked me and mother out of our house." Sighing, he looked down before continuing, "We went to 'X' city to my maternal uncle, David's place, but David also didn't help us because his wife thought that we were a burden to them and threw us out from their house too. David didn't do anything other than looking at us helplessly. That was a stormy night, and we took shelter under a tree." His grip tightened around the railing, and there was a trace of tears in his eyes, recalling all the painful memories.
• Gnashing his teeth, he continued speaking, "My mother worked hard for my studies. I wanted to study law as I vowed to snatch back our property, but it was difficult to manage the fees for my studies." Taking a deep breath, he said again, "Boss was my senior at that time, and when he saw me bullied by some fellow students, he helped me, and we became friends. Whenever I had any issues, financially or anything, he always helped me. Not only me, but he likes to help those people who are weak, needy, and bullied by others. When he started his career as a lawyer, he asked me to be his assistant, and I accepted his offer without a second thought. He helped me to get back my property legally, and now I owned some of the properties that belonged to my father."
