Chapter 28 BONES

• Crying, running as fast as I can, allowing my feet to get me away from here. I feel numb, yet I know I have to keep running. My tears are mixed with the rain that is pouring from the sky, a mix of salt and stone.
• I’m almost outside the forest of my town, a place that now holds bad memories that I don’t think I can chase away any more. I look back and I see no one is there. Of course, how could they be? They have no idea that I heard everything, of their remarks, opinions, the truth that they hold for me.
