Chapter 15 THE SILENCE BEFORE THE STORM
- “You will never see her again!”, a woman screams. I can’t make out who she is, but her golden curls are fascinating to me.
- She is holding my hand and I look up, realizing how small I am. I try to stop her from dragging me but her strength prevents me.
- “Alex, come on”, she says to me and I realize how familiar her voice is.
