Chapter 25 STEAM

• The room door closes behind us. Here we are, in a big room, just for the two of us. The walls are of beige color, with a beautiful mirror decorating it. I hear a sound of annoyance coming from Adam’s mouth, while his eyes are pinned to the bed; small, with red sheets. I mean, it does fit two people, but it isn’t king size. He looks around and says, “Small room, there’s not even a couch”, he expresses with frustration.
• And now, I think I understand what is happening. Adam was hoping for a bigger bed or a couch, so he can sleep on his own, but his plan was ruined. Is he really that disgusted by me? I really can’t figure him out. One minute he is all about protecting me and the next, he doesn’t even want to look at me.
• But of course I should consider that he is just doing his job, saving me and stuff, but I’m such an idiot to think that he is doing any of this out of his big heart. Actually, I’m sure he doesn’t like me at all, and just has patience, since my father must have ordered him to babysit me.
