Chapter 8 BODYGUARD
- I can’t tell for how long I’ve been standing there, fixed in space. “Your father isn’t a man you should ever meet! As long as I’m alive he won’t come near you”. My aunt’s words play in my head, making so much sense now.
- I try to take a step back but it doesn’t work; the wall is blocking me from taking any steps.
- “Alex?”, he says my name, dragging me back into reality.
