Chapter 23 BARGAIN WITH A GOD

• Even though I feel my neck swollen, and my head hurts so much I can hear a ringing, the sight of him makes every pain go away. I can’t move, but I know it’s alright, as he is here, and that means I am safe.
• I’m not sure how this man creates this feeling in me, that no matter what, he will be there whenever I need him. And of course, even our first encounter was him saving me. But from that point onward, I just knew he would always respond to my call.
