He knew that James and Sarah had no relationship of any sorts or any projects together. He had never even seen them talking except for polite perfunctory greetings. But now he found them in what he suspected to be a tense and serious conversation. The box of tissues on James's table tipped off alarm bells in his head. He tried to read Sarah's face but she was not looking at him. She had turned her face away in a bid to ignore him. She did not even want to look at him or see his face. That was how far she was willing to go to ignore and avoid him.
