Chapter 52

• They didn't get much sleep. Luca made sure of that. Not even when the first rays of the sun brightened the sky.
• It was only when Fran laughingly pleaded that she was too tired to keep her eyes open again that Luca finally forced himself to keep his hands off her, but he couldn't resist pulling her against his body so that he could rock her to sleep.
• With her hand on his chest, Fran caressed him, smiling as she closed her eyes. She was very exhausted, and she suspected that if she hadn't confessed her exhaustion Luca would have either turned her over on her knees one more time or hooked her legs over his shoulders while he buried his face between her thighs.
