• Fran made her way into the house feeling conflicted. She could not help but feel that way, and it wasn't just about Faith's disappearance and how that led her to Luca.
• It was about a lot of events that snowballed since she decided to meet with the Mafia boss. She had not put into consideration the fact that an association with him would put her life in danger. But there was no way Ricky would know about her relationship with Luca, right? There was no possible way. It's not like he knew Faith was her sister. If he did, Bobby would never have been able to get her out of the club with Ricky's men intervening.
• That was the problem with these kinds of men. They liked to be in control. That mere fact was enough to make it easy to know what to expect from them.
