Chapter 21
- Francesca woke up alone in bed the next morning. The curtains had been pulled shut to block out wayward streams of sunlight, but the rising sun still cast dull rays into the room.
- Luca hadn't turned on the lights when he left. He had also tucked her in with the blankets beneath her chin to protect her from the draft in the air, since she had no clothes on.
- Fran smiled. Now those were not the actions of a selfish man.
