Chapter 22

• Luca woke that morning already dreading the day. Waking up next to Fran made it bearable to get out of bed to face his men. The report last night wasn't good. He lost more than 4 men, but only 4 bodies were found and Tony was one of them. The others had either fallen into the water or Ricky now had them and did to them what he did to Ricky's men.
• To top it off, he also had to deal with his contact from the local police force telling him that the city was in a state of unrest due to last night's shoot-out. He did promise to cover it up as best as he could but he warned Luca of the consequences of another incident repeating itself.
• Luca's one consolation was that by now Ricky should have received the complete package of his men's bodies. That was a message.
