Chapter 48

• While on his way to Carmen’s loft, Phillip, who had previously scheduled time to talk with Carmen, found that she was gone, along with all of her possessions. He rushed to search other areas of the estate but was still unable to locate Carmen. "Miles, where is she?" Phil questioned, looking for Miles to inquire where Carmen was.
• Miles said, "Phil, it's best for everyone if she leaves the mansion. "Phil asks loudly, "But where is she? I need to see her!" Miles said, "Phil, I cannot let anything awful happen to Carmen; she left this morning while you were at school."
• Phillip goes back to Carmen's room to check if she has left him anything; he is seeking for a note or any clue as to where she could be, but Carmen has already departed and there is nothing. Phil becomes really upset since he knows his parents let her go and forced her to leave the mansion so they couldn't be together.
