Chapter 23

• The night is still young, as the farewell party for the captain has not yet been finished. Annika is still at work at the deserted Lido Bar, just waiting for her shift to end. She cannot wait till she finishes work as she knows she will be spending some time with Captain Magnus again.
• Suddenly, she noticed Captain Magnus racing towards her from the steps at Lido Bar. For a brief while, she was bewildered since the captain was running up the steps.
• "Annika, I may complete the night late since I will have some drinks with the officers after the farewell party, so I will hand you my cabin key, and you may proceed to go there after your shift, suit yourself, rest, and wait for me," he said Annika as he handed her his key.
