Chapter 14

• "Goodbye Captain Matteo, we are going to miss you!" Annika utters these words while waving goodbye to the outgoing Captain Matteo. "Are you really going to miss him?" a voice said, sounding at the back of Annika. Annika suddenly stops waving, trying to think whose voice she just heard. She turns around and there is this handsome man looking into her eyes, asking her if she will really miss the outgoing captain.
• Annika assumed the man must be one of the ship's new passengers because he was standing at the wharf while inside the port. The other crew members have informed me that the new captain is quite strict, very disciplinarian, and he loves memos, so I am not really looking forward to meeting him," Annika replied nicely in response to his query. He responded, "Oh, really? He must be a terrible captain." "I'm not sure; we'll see. I have to get to the city quickly to buy some things. I'll see you on board later. Okay, I'll see you at the South Pacific Bar where I work. Don't be concerned; I've got you covered.
• He was a really gorgeous man, and Annika was telling him as she slowly walked away, "Sure, I agree. The Fair Princess departed around four in the afternoon to begin her newest voyage to the South Pacific. With her formal night uniform—a white long-sleeve with a bow, a flowery vest that matches her pencil-cut black skirt, and a pair of heels—Annika begins to make her way to her station at the South Pacific Bar.
