Chapter 13

• Today, is the day Annika finally embarks on the new adventure of her life, she joined the cruise ship Fair Princess, and everything is new to her, it’s her first time to board an airplane, the first time to see a big passenger ship and the first time go work overseas. She is sad to leave La Gondola and her family back home but she feels like she really needs to do this to forget the betrayal, Bruce and Jessica did that hurt her.
• It was not easy to leave but she stays strong with her plan and here she is standing in front of the ship she will be joining with all her luggage on her side. I've never seen a solid metal this massive; will this boat actually float? she questioned in her head. After being met at the airport by the agent, she then accompanied him as he directed her to the ship.
• She was so amiable that Annika wanted to be her best friend, Chief Stewardess Mae. Mae gave Annika the directive that she would be working on the deck first, taking drink orders from the passengers, then, subsequently, working at the South Pacific Bar, one of the bars. Annika had a mix of fear and excitement as the ship set sail; the wind was tossing her hair and she was savoring the pleasant aroma. The ship passed the famed Opera House, and Annika's eyes were in awe that she was experiencing such beauty.
