Chapter 49 Oh Please

• “Dante! Dante, get back here this instant, Dante!” Hakim screamed but alas, I was already out of his office, making my way to the elevator. The elevator was still on the last floor, and with how impatient I was, I hurried off to use the staircase, besides, my office was just right on the next floor below.
• As I scurried on the staircase I brought out my phone to text Cole, and immediately I got to my floor, there he was, alighting from the elevator.
• He wore a smile at first, but the smile instantly faded into a worried face as he saw how disgruntled my face was.
