Chapter 32 Have Him Fired

• I was still feeling vexed from the fact that I had lost a whooping two hundred dollars to Sasha. It was unprecedented, totally. I was so sure that Mrs Walter would climb those stairs, not at her age. It was even risky for her to do so, and I knew that she wouldn't use the elevator because she was claustrophobic. She told me that herself. But to my utmost surprise, after placing my money on the line, she appeared right in front of my door step to tell me to quiet it down.
• "You should recognize that you are not the only one living in this building," she said, almost sounding British, "the noise was too much, and not only was it too much, it was inappropriate. I had to lie to my grandson that the noise was coming from a loud video game which you guys were playing up here, and can you imagine what he said?" She asked me.
• I shook my head, tightening my lips to stop myself from laughing.
