Chapter 19 The Best Defense

• The best defence is always a good offence. That was what I learnt from the lectures of criminal law, and I was putting it into practice, completely taking the plaintiff unawares.
• "Defendant. Is your question to the young man really relevant to this case?" The judge asked.
• "Yes, your honour, it is very much relevant to this case, and we are about to find out," I said, turning to the judge and turning back to the young man.
