• Two things woke me, the bright light streaming in through the window and the heavy blanket on my body. I groaned and tried turning but then I realized the heavy thing on me wasn't a blanket, it was Xavier.
• His arm was draped over me, holding me close to him, and his breathing was soft against the back of my neck.
• I shifted a little, turning to face him, and his arm tightened around me automatically, like he didn’t want to let go even in his sleep. I couldn’t help but smile as I looked at him. His face was so relaxed and peaceful.
