• I drove into the garage and parked my car. My visit to Julia was long overdue, and today was an opportunity for me to see her. She was rarely in town and the few times we planned to see whenever she was around, something always came up. I had been friends with Julia for years, and even though I felt like I had always been the one putting more effort into our friendship, I cherished what we had because I wasn't one to keep friends. I told her literally almost everything that happened in my life and that I had been loyal to our friendship. I rang the doorbell twice and waited for her to open up.
