Chapter 202 Office Affairs

• The tension in the atmosphere hung above the room like a thick blanket, eyes met and averted to one another. Thomas sat in disarray, he had opened his mouth to speak a couple of times but no words were formed. He ran his fingers into his hair in frustration. Ryan kept glancing back and forth between Brenda and Thomas. He had a mischievous expression on his face while Brenda’s was filled with a mix of fear and guilt.
• “How could you do this?” Thomas stuttered, finally finding his words.
• A sharp cynical chuckle cut through the thick blanket of silence as Thomas’ low voice didn't do much. Brenda turned sharply to face Ryan while Thomas watched in horror as the young man laughed at him.
