• I had lied to Mark that I was going to visit my mum for some days. Things had been quite awkward after we had a conversation about my Mum the day after my birthday. It seemed as though he was scared or somewhat embarrassed to make love to me, and I couldn't blame him.
• I understood how he was feeling and was going to give him some space to snap out of it. I stopped by the supermarket to get some things Alex asked me to buy on my way to his place and finally arrived at the house. I unlocked the door and went straight upstairs to find him. I knocked on the door of his room twice before he opened up.
