Chapter 9

• This is something that she won’t keep quiet with because it was eating her inside out, she has to master all the courage that she has to do the only thing that she had to do, that is to confront him.
• There were two options here, to stay and keep feeling miserable or leave and miss on all the money that he had promised her .She finally decided that the next time they are going to meet she will tell him about what is actually in her heart, then she will make a decision on what to do next depending on his answer.
• The only thing she couldn’t bear is seeing him with another woman.
• Larry was just coming back from work and he thought that he should check up on his friend and see whether he had been successful on what he was set on doing. But instead he found him so gloomy and unapproachable when he opened the door for him.
• “Oh…come on, don’t give me that bad mood. I am not the one who disappointed you.” Ha….Ha…. he laughed sarcastically then he muttered” did the simple girl reject you? I know you David, you always get like this if you don’t win.”
• Did he have to be humiliated like this even with his very own friend? The woman was such a bad luck. Anyway she has her punishment coming as soon as Paul gives him her details, he will search for her all over the country and he will make her pay.
• “Larry you are so stupid and I will never forgive you for making me waste my time with that stupid girl. She just wouldn’t give in and can you imagine I had to call Belinda?” David kept on complaining to the only person who was responsible for his tribulations.
• Larry became attentive as his friend continued talking nonsense, all he could think about was the money and so he asked curiously “Do you mean that I won our bet? “ Larry smirked at him sheepishly and when he looked at him with dark eyes he stopped laughing.
• “Don’t get ahead of yourself, you know that I am the best in this game and she wouldn’t resist my charms. But no you lost, I got to kiss her and you are going to pay me the money right now.” David stated in a very serious note and Larry knew that the tables had turned on him and he would have to pay the money instead. It was such a huge amount for him but a deal is a deal and he couldn’t get out of it.
• “If you won why are you sad like this?” Larry asked.
• But he wouldn’t answer him instead he said arrogantly “Don’t be so troublesome man, must I tell you all the detail? Can’t you see by yourself .I was almost there and the girl just didn’t want to go on? She just backed down at the final stage when I was almost getting the deed done.”
• “Okay I kind of hoped that she will be the little naïve girl who only think about what they are seeing but on this time I was wrong and I really regret ever encouraging you to go for her. Anyway why do you even need more money when you have more than enough to spend on the women?” he was trying his luck so that he wouldn’t give the money but David wouldn’t hear any of that especially now that he needed to vent his frustrations on someone.
• “Just give me the money and stop the useless excuses, a deal is a deal and you can’t get out of it. Just so you know I am only angry and I don’t know who to take my anger on but you. I wasn’t planning on taking the money but you are to blame for making me choose that stupid girl who went ahead and humiliated me. Do you imagine me a whole CEO and tycoon of the city being pointed a spray at like a criminal?” he creased his head in annoyance and clicked, he was furious and the rage wouldn’t let him have some peace.
• Larry didn’t know that his ego was hurt this much, but to some extent he was really curious inside, he would have liked to meet the woman who was tough enough to resist his friend’s charms.
• “Okay I will wire it into your account right now.” Larry took out his phone from his side pocket and immediately transferred 10,000 dollars in his account. He checked it and nodded his head with amusement.
• “However what I promise you is that the stupid girl won’t laugh at my face like a no body, I will find her and when she in in front me I will show her that she was wrong to mess up with a man like me.”
• “Take it easy man, you will get another one, okay. Aren’t you the king of all womanizers? Why are you getting this worked up because of that simple girl?”
• He clenched his fists and muttered” I won’t rest until I get her and then she will have no option but to be my slut just the way I wanted her to be. I will torture her and laugh at her face until she begs me for mercy. I won’t show mercy I swear.”
• Suddenly his phone rang and when he looked at it, it was his assistant. He never calls him that late if he didn’t bear some news. So he picked it up without hesitation.
• “Hello Paul,” he greeted.
• “Hello Boss, I have good news about the woman whom we almost ran over. Can I send the details on your phone right now?”
• Even thought that stupid woman didn’t interest him like Betty gravy he just told him to send him the details but in reality he just thought that he wasn’t going to waste his time on a lost cause like her. However before he cut off the phone conversation he also had another request.
