Chapter 21

• How could a normal person behave so aggressively the way he was? There must be something wrong with him. By the way he was talking, Betty concluded that he was really crazy. But she was already married to him, like the saying goes forever until death do us part.
• Walking to the car was the most difficult thing she did that day, it took all her endurance to finally settle on the passenger seat. All this while, the man who put her on this situation was just looking at her without lifting a hand to help her. He glanced at her with dark and cold eyes and shifted his attention to the car without talking to her.
• She was so tired from the pain and suffering and wished for the man to leave her alone even for just some time. She would have loved to call her mom and talk to her. But Betty knew that her mother would be worried especially because she was the one who encouraged her to marry the devil.
