Chapter 23

• David aired out his concern by saying, “She has slept for too long, Janet .Go and check on her right now” he instructed and hung up the phone. He started feeling an intense headache on his forehead and he knew immediately that was not a very good sign given his medical condition. He hurriedly went to the cabinet in his office and took some medicines which the doctor prescribed for him to control his anxiety.
• After swallowing one pill from the bottle, he felt his body start to relax and the headache was slowly disappearing. Suddenly David realized that he was starting to feel sleepy, he didn’t have enough sleep last night because he was busy hurting his newly wedded wife. He couldn’t understand what came over him but it had to do with the anxiety he felt through the day.
• In his office he had a private bedroom equipped with a full bathroom, where he always stays whenever he didn’t feel like going home .He laid on the neat bed and fell asleep immediately.
