Chapter 34

• He came back to his senses when he heard her call him. It has been long since he started the game and finally he noticed that she was unusually still. He became alert and when he observed her closely, Betty was not breathing, she was unconscious and her pulse was very weak. It immediately dawned on him that this time round he had gone too far as he almost killed her for real.
• He was not a murderer, he only wanted to punish her and not to kill her. The world will never forgive him for killing the woman who he recently married.
• David couldn’t forget how she cried in his arms, she was begging him to let her rest and now what would he do in case she dies. He was filled with panic as he stood up abruptly and went straight for his phone. He needed to get her some help as soon as possible and the first person who came on his mind was Larry. David knew that with him he will understand and help him but later he won’t stop reprimanding him. But he had accepted that he had wronged her not once but two times.
