Chapter 31

• “As you wish” she said while looking down, her instinct told her that by now his eyes were filled with fury and she did not dare look at him directly on the face.
• He climbed out of the car and opened her door. He held her waist and pulled her closer to his body. It was the first time she noticed the smell of his cologne, which produced a sweet feeling in her heart all the same. She also noticed the stubbles on his jaw line which has started to grow.
• David looked really charming right now and Betty wondered why he sometimes turns in to a devil in a blink of an eye. She also started to imagine what happened earlier in his office and how he was having sex with the other woman. Right now as he held her possessively like that he didn’t even seemed to be feeling any guilt at all. He was a scumbag with no feelings or emotions and didn’t care what he did to other people.
