Chapter 39

• When he noticed the disbelief on her little face he sighed softly and muttered “Okay you don’t need to answer me I will be right back” Then he headed out of the room leaving her alone.
• After a few seconds he came back with chicken soup full in a bowl. He sat down opposite Betty and started feeding her. In the beginning she was shy to accept this sweet gesture from him, but he made her realize that she didn’t have a choice. Betty couldn’t remember the last time she was fed like that, probably when she was a child. He made sure that Betty finished all the soup and put the bowl back on the table.
• But what he suggested next shocked Betty as he said it with a carefree attitude “Now my beautiful wife, it is time for your bath and I am going to bathe you myself”
