• “By the way, there was a question I asked and you refused to answer me. How did I get to this hospital?” David wouldn’t give up.
• Betty didn’t want to explain things before because she knew that she will have to include the part where she opened his cell phone and he will end up getting angry. She didn’t want to get him anxious as his condition appeared to be delicate.
• “Promise me you won’t get angry at me. I did what I had to because I was desperate .I feared that something bad was going to happen to you” all this time she was fiddling with her fingers nervously and David couldn’t guess what was going on. For God’s sake she helped him and got him to the hospital on time, what else could she be afraid of like this. He didn’t force himself on her and therefore he couldn’t come up with a better reason.
