• Sam noticed immediately that Betty didn’t like what he just said so he went to her side and gave her a hug .Betty just leaned her head on his shoulder and started imagining what will happen if any one of the employees were to walk in to the office and find them like that. She didn’t want to make the situation worse than it had already. It was bad enough that she was closed behind the door with her boss.
• So she quickly pulled away from him and looked away .She needed to go and face her own problems because staying in the office hiding away won’t make the disgusting news go away .She made a quick decision that she is going to put on a brave face and go continue her work.
• “Sam, I need to go .I think I have already bothered you enough.” Betty finally said with a heavily pounding heart. At least in this office she was well hidden away from the other people who may want to judge her however she knew very well that it was only a short term solution and somehow she would have to go out and face them.
