Chapter 68

• For quite some time there was unusual silence in the house and she decided to come out of hiding. What she saw broke her heart, David had cut his wrist with the glasses that was broken from the Television and was bleeding profusely. But still his face showed no emotion at all, not even from the pain on his wounds. She remembered that Betty asked her to take care of him and her heart soften.
• “Sir let me help you clean the wound.” He just stared at her with no reply at all and his blank eyes showed her that he was lost from reality. However she owed it to him for being her employer, he really did pay her well except for his bad moods. For the sake of Betty she will help him calm down.
• “I don’t know what is wrong with me, Janet. I only want to be a better person but I destroy everything I touch.” David confessed much to her surprise. He couldn’t imagine such a powerful man being reduced to talking to his house help. Was she able to give meaningful advice to him because she figure out that is what he wanted for starting to talk like that.
