Chapter 15

• The wedding venue was set inside the huge Scott family mansion and guests were seated eagerly waiting for Betty Gravy to make her grand entrance. Betty took a deep breath and managed to hide the deep pain she was feeling with a very sweet smile on her face.
• Today was the saddest day of her life as she was going to get married to a total stranger. David Scott was one of the known womanizers in town and as she was going to marry him she wondered what kind of a life awaits her.
• “Honey you have to try and be happy at least for the guests, okay. I know what you are doing is not easy for any woman but just look at the picture ahead. You do remember that you are doing this only for your father.” Rose Gravy said as she caressed her daughter’s face. She thought that somehow she could comfort her and make her look a little bit happy. She was the worst mother in the world for letting something like this to happen to her daughter.
